Sauce – Tomato and Basil
Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce by Atkins + Potts

Tomatoes (73%), Onions, Water, Tomato Paste (2.5%), Olive Oil, Basil (1%), Sugar, Vegetable Stock (Vegetable Stock (Water, Onion, Carrot Extract, Tomato, Celeriac, Herbs, Garlic, Spice), Salt, Glucose Syrup, Maltodextrin, Yeast Extracts, Sugar, Flavourings, Rapeseed Oil, Garlic, Salt, Cornflour, Black Pepper. The classic pasta sauce, carefully prepared by frying onions and garlic in olive oil before stirring in freshly chopped tomatoes and simmering gently with plenty of basil. Perfect with pasta cooked al dente, also excellent poured over trout steamed in a little white wine.
Classic Spaghetti Bolognaise Recipe
- 500g Beef/ Venison Mince
- Atikins + Potts Tomato and Basil Sauce
- oil for frying (small amount)
- Spaghetti Pasta
- Salt to taste
Fry mince in a frying pan using a little oil to prevent sticking, stir until browned, add Sauce. Serve with cooked spaghetti, grated cheese and season to taste.
Add veg, fry before you add the mince, for extra flavour. This could include, chopped onion, garlic, carrots and tomatoes.
